In the meantime....

While I prepare to leave for Uganda, I have been substituting and tutoring. It has been more fun than I thought to sub at different grade levels. I have enjoyed experiencing classrooms other than just first and second grade. (Although second is probably still my favorite!) It is kind of nice to do what I love - teach - but not have the pressure of all the paperwork. It has also been a refreshing time for me personally. I have been able to spend more time with friends and family. And, I think I have actually lost weight without all of the yummy goodies that students used to bring - I guess that shows my lack of self-control. :)

I am thankful for different seasons of my life. This one is no exception!

karin, for newbies like you, just click my time and date and it will take you to the website. On that page, there will be a link near the bottom that says "Display a free clock for Kampala on your web site or blog." Click on that and then you can enter the place you want displayed on your blog. I think you will know how to do everything else. It was tricky!

I LOVED subbing!

I can't wait for you to go to Africa. Lately, Greg and I have talked about moving to Liberia and what that would mean and what we could contribute. Interesting to think about where God may take us in the future!

Love ya,
Brandi
