Peanut

Flavia, also known as Peanut, is one of the youngest children here. She has come to the village within the past two years. From the pictures, you can see the changes that have occurred. I am not sure of all of the family situations she left behind, but I do know the life she leads now. It is one of order, peace, security, and hope. In the first picture, you can see a black bracelet around her wrist. This is given by the witch doctor to ward off evil spirits. They are very common to see throughout Uganda. The second picture was taken last week at her birthday party. She is so full of life!

Well Dre, I was just thinking of you, i miss you tons. Me and mom were going through old pictures and was just thinking of you. Miss you horribly and hope the internet is back up soon and stays, so we all can talk to you. These post are amazing and really show what you are doing over there. They really do help. It is so neat to see the changes that are going on, and thank you so much for sharing them. Love you so much, Jonathan
