Kids, kids, and more kids

You know in The Sound of Music when Maria starts praying for all the children she is a governess for and she cannot remember one of the boy's names for the life of her? Well, multiply that by 12 and that's me!

There are 83 boys and girls at this Rafiki Village. I know it has only been a little over two weeks, but I would really love to have their names down by now, especially the ones that I teach. Each night at dinner, I am a guest at one of the family's tables. As I sat down to eat tonight, my thoughts were, "If I could only picture where this child sits in the classroom, maybe I could remember his/her name." At least telling the girls from the boys has gotten a little easier. Just a couple more days, and I think I'll have it :)

Dre you are amazing and with time you will learn all of their names! Try not to be so hard on yourself, because I am sure everyone felt the same way as you do at first. You are working so hard on many different things, it will get easier but I will continue to pray for that part! I love you so much, stephanie

hmmmmmm...I still confuse the names of the kids in MY class! And since the kindergarten kids came through last week wearing their "100th day of school t-shirts", it must be at least day 105!! I guess I better pick up the pace..... :-) Lois :-)
