Outside Rafiki

Some people have asked what the area looks like outside of Rafiki. I have not taken many pictures because we are usually just driving through and it is difficult to get a shot. However, Jenae and Kim - the two missionaries who are currently here - took some photos yesterday, so I thought I would share them.

How much can you carry on your head?
This is why it is difficult to drive in Uganda. The road is shared among many forms of transportation.
Thankfully, this is not where we buy our meat. I love the names of places here.
This is motoke - a form of unripened banana. We eat it a lot here - a traditional Ugandan food.

This so reminds me of Kenya! It makes me kind of homesick... Andrea, I'm so glad that you're enjoying your time in Uganda. And I love that you keep us updated on what's happening. Praying for you, girl!
