Christmas In June

Lately, I have been addicted to listening to Christmas music. I do know it is June but listening to it makes me so happy. With the arrival of my family, it truly felt like Christmas. It was a wonderful reunion. My parents, aunt, and two sisters came. It was so fun to all be together and they brought me lots of fun gifts from home. So, it truly did feel like I was opening gifts on Christmas morning. While they were here, my dad and Stephanie worked with two other hygienists to do much-needed dental work on some of the children in our community. They worked on the students from the village first and then worked on some of the Rafiki kids, teachers, and mamas. While they were busy at the clinic, my mom, aunt, and Lindsay helped me at school.

Thank you so much for your prayers! I had a wonderful time with each of them and am so glad they made the sacrifice to come. The two weeks went by at just the right pace - although I wish they could have stayed longer. When my mom is around, she takes enough pictures for all of us, so I will have to wait to get the pictures from her before I post some. I just wanted to give you a quick update since it has been too long. They are now safely back in Florida.
