THANK YOU!!!

This is a LONG overdue “Thanks!” In June, when my family came to visit, they brought with them suitcases full of donated supplies and toys for our children. They had to be creative in packing in order to fit it all in. This was the generous gifts of two separate families. First, thank you to Daniel – one of my former students - who chose to use his birthday as a chance to collect items for those less fortunate. Instead of gifts for himself, he asked each of his friends to bring gifts for the children here at Rafiki. Many of the things they donated will be Christmas gifts for the children this year. Thank you, Daniel! I am impressed with your maturity and selflessness at such a young age.

The second “Thank you” is for the 2007-2008 first grade class at TMA. They had a service project where they collected much-needed items for our school. We used some of the items you donated during our GAMES this summer. We will continue to use the rest throughout the school year. Thanks for the stickers, paper, pencils, etc.

Thank you to my family for somehow managing to pack it all!

THANK YOU just doesn’t seem adequate! Many will be blessed through your generosity!

Dear Andrea,
We were thankful to be able to bring all the donated supplies and toys to you. It was so generous of everyone at Master's Academy to send them. What fun for the children at Rafiki to benefit from all that was given!! Much love to you, Nancy.
