This principle has stood out to me over the past couple of months. As I am teaching here in Uganda, I often forget the backgrounds these children have come from, the lives these children have lived. I am amazed at who God is and how He works. He has specifically chosen these children to be here. These children who were once counted among the least of their country are now being given the opportunity that only some of the greatest have. They are well-fed, clothed, loved, cared for. They are receiving an education - which is HUGE here - but not just any education - one that is founded on the Bible. I am truly astounded at how God works! There is still much work to be done both here in Uganda and around the world, but each precious life God has transformed is a reason to celebrate!
Here are just a few of the transformations. I teach each of these boys during language arts.

In this picture, you can actually see all three of them. They love playing football (soccer).
