Jabulani Africa!

Not only the name of the official soccer ball of the World Cup 2010...
but also means "Celebrate Africa!"

The first time I traveled to Africa I was 16. It was my time with the Lord, in Africa, that has forever touched my heart and begun a lifelong journey of wanting to know and serve Him more. I "Celebrate Africa" for I love...
...the simple way of life.
...the people, and their history.
...the silence and solitude.
...the landscape.
...the memories.

I am humbled with how quickly I can forget what life is all about. I look forward to this trip so if I can just pack!

On a side note...we will be in London for a 12 hour layover on Tuesday, June 15th. My favorite English Premier League soccer team is the Tottenham Hotspurs. My great uncle, Arthur Rowe, played for them, coached them, and managed them. A life-long dream of mine is to visit their home stadium named White Heart Lane. My uncle, who is Arthur's son, helped arrange a private stadium tour (my aunt helped too)! I can't believe my dream is coming true! I'm so excited and thankful!

A huge thanks to all of you that have taken such a huge interest in our trip!
Thank you for your prayers, support and encouragement!
This is your ministry as much as it is ours!

"Not to us, Oh Lord, not to us, but to Your name be the glory." Psalm 115:1
